Paul Quinn has been jailed for exposing his genitals in Cardiff city centre.
The 44-year-old also pleading guilty to stealing hot food from Greggs on Queen Street.
Officers recognised Quinn from CCTV of the offences, and he was arrested in Albany Road, Roath, on Monday afternoon.
Within 24 hours he appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court where yesterday (Tuesday, February 10) he was sentenced to 16 weeks imprisonment.
Officer in the case, PC Harry Edgeworth, from the city centre Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Public spaces should be safe for everyone, and we will always take swift action against those who choose to behave in a threatening or indecent manner.
“I hope this conviction provides reassurance that we are committed to protecting our communities in Cardiff city centre and ensuring offenders are brought to justice.”
