Bus route and timetable updates from April 2024.
Following the end of the Welsh Government’s Bus Emergency Scheme in July 2023, and the Bus Transition Fund on 31 March 2024, CCBC needed to retender all its supported bus service contracts and where possible, socially necessary bus services that could not run commercially.
That exercise has now concluded and following the confirmation by the Welsh Government of the new Bus Network Grant for the 2024/25 financial year, the following bus network comprising CCBC contracted services and some existing commercial services will operate from 1 April 2024.
Service registrations are underway through the Traffic commission and updated timetable information should appear on the Traveline website prior to the commencement date of 01 April 2024. It is advised to check timetables for travel after 1st April 2024, as there may be some minor changes to timings and schedules.
