The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) has announced Grange University Hospital as the winner of the Award for Excellence in Planning for Health and Wellbeing at the Awards for Planning Excellence.
BDP’s long-term planning strategy adopts a plan-led approach to deliver a state-of-the art hospital and enable the remodelling of healthcare in South Wales.
Judges noted that the submission demonstrated a sustained planning-led approach to a complex health project over several years. It is an impressive example of how a long-term planning strategy can provide a high quality essential medical facility for the local community.
Now in its 46th year, the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence showcase and celebrate the best plans, people and projects. The awards recognise and reward the brightest talent in the profession; the most outstanding plans, projects and people helping to transform economies, environments, and communities.
