The Swansea £5 Feast is BACK this September (Fri 8th to Sun 10th) and we are excited to let you know what’s in store! Over 20 top street food traders are heading to Museum Park (SA1 1SN) each serving £5 taster dishes alongside their usual main meals. This means you’ll be able to taste more for less, plus this time round NO TICKETS ARE REQUIRED and entry is FREE!

Street Food Warehouse, the festival organisers say:

“We really appreciated everyone’s cooperation earlier this year, at the main Swansea Street Food Festival, with us having to move sites at the last minute. This led to a smaller site and safe capacity of the site, and so, queues were much longer than expected.

This time round we are back in our original City Centre location at Museum Park with a fully open site! We’ll have a higher safe capacity of visitors and overflow areas around museum park, so you’ll be able to come and go from the main festival site freely with multiple entrances and exits. We’ll also have a much bigger main bar with more serving points, a separate cocktail bar and soft drink bar. Plus we’ll have £5 drinks deals all weekend long!

As always entry is free and we hope to keep it that way, plus we think the £5 Feast is a great way for everyone to try the whole variety of foods on offer! We’ll be announcing the £5 dishes that each of our traders will be serving, on our social media account (@swanseastreetfoodfestival), so attendees can start to plan meals before they head down. Additionally, we’ll be hosting live music and DJs each day of the festival for you to have a boogie.

We are really excited to be back at Museum Park and hope to see lots of familiar faces this September at our free family event!”

The festival opens its doors at 5pm on Friday 8th September until 11pm. Then the feast is open as usual from 11am to 11pm on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September 2023.

The festival is offering a live music tent  courtesy of Fourpure Brewing Co that will host musicians and DJs everyday of the festival. You’ll be able to boogie whilst munching on some delicious street food and sipping refreshing drinks! Live music will start at 6pm on Friday and 12pm on Saturday and Sunday. It’s the perfect place to have lunch or dinner with some drinks and then head into town to shop or enjoy Swansea’s range of nightlife (wink wink).

Swansea £5 feast has announced some of the cuisines and food on offer this year. You’ll be able to try: Italian, Indian, Moroccan, Thai, Greek, Spanish, Mexican and Afghan. Plus, fried chicken, bao buns, loaded hot dogs, mac & cheese, philly cheesesteak, loaded fries, burgers, brownies, churros, doughnuts, gelato, crêpes, waffles, cakes and olives! If that hasn’t got your mouth watering then maybe you need to read it again…

Remember no tickets are required, however you can still reserve a table at peak times for just £5. For those of you that bought a loyalty card at the last festival, you’ll be able to use that again this time round and get 10% off the bar, so don’t forget it! This year there’ll be designated seating areas around the site. There’s reserved and unreserved table seating and specific spaces for blankets and camp chairs. As always, no food or drink from outside the festival is allowed onto the site, but that shouldn’t be a problem as there’s loads of amazing food to try!
