This year’s Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10K raised £839.50 for Llamau, a Welsh charity supporting young people and women facing homelessness. The cheque was presented at Penallta House by Cllr Chris Morgan, Cabinet Member for Leisure.
The donations were made by entrants who chose to support Llamau when signing up through the Caerphilly 10K website.
The money raised will directly fund frontline support, including 140 essential toiletry packs, 52 learning materials packs, 34 ‘You and Me, Mum’ sessions, 28 counselling sessions, and 9 days of 24-hour supported housing.
Cllr Chris Morgan said:
“It’s inspiring to see how our flagship running event can make such a meaningful difference. These funds will go a long way in helping Llamau continue their incredible work supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.”
The Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10K returns on Sunday 10th May 2026. Participants can once again choose to support Llamau when registering at www.caerphilly10k.co.uk.
