The dedication and hard work of the Vale Resort’s housekeeping team were celebrated at the end of 2024 as they were recognised by Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) at the ‘Behind the Scenes of Clean’ event.
Held as part of a global initiative to honour the invaluable contributions of cleaning teams, the event took place at the Vale Resort, where the team was personally thanked for their tireless efforts in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across the luxury hotel and leisure venue.
The Vale Resort’s housekeeping team, led by Joanne Blamey, was selected for the recognition due to their unwavering passion and enthusiasm for ensuring an immaculate environment for guests. Their commitment to excellence, alongside their role in implementing sustainable cleaning practices, made them stand out among other venues.
While no formal awards were handed out, the event served as a moment of appreciation, with attendees treated to drinks, snacks, and goodie bags as a token of gratitude. The initiative, now in its third year, aims to spotlight the often-unsung heroes of the hospitality industry – those who work behind the scenes to create a welcoming and hygienic environment for visitors.
