Change of Tack needed in early 2024 – using the £2.6 billion and more

I’ve never actually sailed a yacht, but I’ve been a guest several times, out at sea on a small yacht belonging to a relative. Sailing out from Swansea Marina into Mor Hafren (Severn Sea – Bristol Channel) on the west wind. Not in my opinion the most enjoyable of things to do. 

One vital thing to learn immediately was to avoid being hit by the main “Sail Boom”, when changing tack direction. Having said that, I think we “Wind Warriors” need to ‘change tack’ direction in our campaign fight against the Wales’ Senedd’s obsessive proposals to cover our scenic land with erratic ugly Wind Turbines. The people of Wales seem numb and dumb on this issue, and we only get bad hostile responses from the booming Wind Turbine developer supporters. The greatest delusion from the Cardiff Bay Labour / Plaid controlled Senedd is their stated aim of making little Wales the World Leader in fighting global climate change with harsh rushed net zero costly crippling policies. 

This wild crazy cat is out of the bag now that the Wales Senedd’s new declared draft budget is set to now spend £2.6 billion on this ludicrous fantasy aimed unachievable target.

We need to change tack from simply attacking mad Senedd energy policies.

We need to concentrate for the first quarter of 2024 in attacking this £2.6 billion budget waste chasing the unattainable.

We need to hammer home that there is another true attainable alternative target, and that is making Wales a Global World Leader with a top National Health Service, a title we once held because of the beliefs of a once visionary Welsh coal miner Aneurin Bevan. That wasted £2.6 billion must be held to account to serve the NHS, and not foreign Wind Turbines developers. Only then will we get public support  – and it’s a realistic achievable aim target with enough money well spent. £2.6 billion is now on the table.
