The rugby legend, Kevin Sinfield starts his incredible 7 in 7 in 7 endurance event next Friday and comes to Cardiff on Saturday, 2nd December !
He will run 7 ultra marathons (27.2 miles) in 7 days in 7 cities to raise awareness and money in support of people impacted by motor neurone disease, and his first run will be from Leeds to York on December 1st, followed by Cardiff the day after.
The former Rhino player will finish at half time of the United Rugby Championship game between Cardiff and Scarlets at The Arms Park.
So far, he has raised more than £8 million for the fight against MND across three endurance events. Each one has been inspired by his former Leeds Rhinos teammate Rob Burrow MBE.
“It has been a great way of celebrating the MND community and celebrating Rob and showing people we care. The support we have had has been amazing. The plan is to run seven marathons, plus an extra mile each day, in seven different cities in the UK and Ireland across seven days. We are really looking forward to it; there are 100 reasons we shouldn’t go again, but there are 5,000 why we should and the big reason is Rob,” Kevin Sinfield said.
