Plaid Cymru Shadow Minister for Health, Rhun ap Iorwerth MS said,
“I welcome any steps to facilitate safe visiting possible in care homes. I wrote to Welsh Government earlier this month to encourage further measures to allow visiting to take place on the grounds of the wellbeing of residents. The take up of lateral flow testing has been too slow in Wales, but we need now to make sure that pilot schemes are rolled out widely.”
