The sentencing took place on today Tuesday March 17 at Cardiff Crown Court after both had pleaded guilty to two counts of arson earlier in the year.

In December 2025 officers received a call from the fire service that two cars were on fire in Brackla, Bridgend.

Officers investigating the arson checked the CCTV in the moments before the fire and found a Nissan Pixo circling around the estate before Lloyd and Mills got out of the car.

Shortly after Lloyd and Mills can be seen approaching an Audi Q5, one of them had a hammer in his hand the other had a jerry can.

The pair proceeded to smash the rear window of the Q5 before pouring in the accelerant and setting the car on fire. One of them could be seen fleeing the scene as his coat was also set on fire. The fire then spread to a car on the neighbouring drive.

Detective Constable Sarah Jenkins said

“The senseless actions of Lloyd and Milis could have got somebody seriously injured, and they will have known this when they were committing the offence. I hope their sentences give them the time they need to reflect on their actions.”
