Heolddu Leisure Centre is excited to announce the launch of a new affordable lifeguard training courFor just £50, participants can embark on a 13-week journey starting 14th October, acquiring vital lifesaving skills that can pave the way to a future in the Sport & Leisure industry. The course will run every Monday for 13 weeks, providing comprehensive training that includes essential lifesaving techniques, CPR, and first aid. This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in making a significant impact while pursuing a new career path or enhancing their existing skill set.
To participate in the course, candidates must meet the following swimming requirements:
- Swim 100 metres on back and front continuously.
- Swim 50 metres in 60 seconds.
- Tread water for 30 seconds.
- Swim 20 metres with a torpedo buoy.
This rigorous training is designed to ensure participants are well-prepared for lifeguarding roles and can handle real-life situations with confidence.
