Caerphilly County Borough Council is informing its tenants (contract holders) that it is currently undertaking a programme of electrical testing in many of their homes.

The Council has appointed the following contractors to carry out this work: MG Moon Electrical, DJ Decorating, WTH Electrical, Lightning Solutions Ltd, Starlight and Camelot.

Tenants are advised that the Council has a legal duty to carry out this work and testing is essential to ensure their electrics are safe for them and their neighbours.  If tenants receive a call from any of these contractors, they are asked to book an appointment and ensure they’re available for access to complete the tests on the agreed date.

Contractors may initially contact tenants outside normal working hours to schedule an appointment.  Tenants are reminded to check identification before allowing any callers access to their home.
