Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Meadow House, a vacant care home in Gorseinon, Swansea, to leading disabilities support operator, Achieve together.
The business was previously owned by a local operator which entered administration in September 2019, at which point Mr Timothy Close of Milsted Langdon LLP was appointed as administrator.
The site is located in a residential area of the town of Gorseinon in Swansea. It is within walking distance of Gorseinon high street, which boasts a variety shops, restaurants, parks and a bus station, and benefits from good road links to Swansea city centre, the M4 motorway, and the Gower Peninsula.
The property has been well maintained throughout and consists of four converted terrace houses with a modern rear extension, courtyard gardens, and detached brick-built laundry. The business was previously registered for 29 service users and has 27 bedrooms (25 single and two twin rooms), five of which have en suite facilities.
The site has been sold to Achieve together, one of the UK’s leading providers of support for people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.

Meadow House was sold off an asking price of £270,000.
